We have had a surprisingly warm and nice summer and have been enjoying days full of sunshine out on our terrace. This is why I wasn’t too active blogging. Besides lots of bbq’s at home, we did some restaurant testing (aka steakhouse testing) and still didn’t manage to get the steaks at home as good as at the restaurant. If you know the secret, let me know!
To give a proper farewell to summer 2012, we enjoyed a warm evening outside with homemade tortilla chips and guacamole following this recipe. They turned out to be amazing and I don’t think I will ever buy tortilla chips again! These were just too good. In Zurich you can get soft corn tortillas at Globus department store.
