Healing and finding comfort

Today two months ago I had to bring our dog to the hospital for surgery. Cookie had a slipped disk for the third time and the vets recommended to do another surgery. Winter vacation

Mr C. and I made it a habit to go for a long weekend or vacation when it’s one of our birthdays. It comes in handy that our birthdays are 6 months apart so we can enjoy winter and summer vacations. Long time no see – Wedding and more

Food addictions

With temperatures and weather that makes me feel like we are stuck in autumn, my current food obsessions are shifting somewhere between comfort foods (aka cheese fondue and chili con carne) and light dishes to get into the summer feeling.
